The Ladder Alliance mission is to provide women victims of domestic violence or low-income women with the tools to lead self-reliant, independent and successful lives.
The Ladder Alliance provides three education programs:
Basic Computer Skills - Students learn from a custom created curriculum of essential computer skills including keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint taught in 40 2-hour sessions. The only cost to students is a $15 workbook fee.
Professional Office Skills - Intensive program meeting 16 weeks for 5 hours daily. Students learn advanced computer skills and business communications (written and oral), certified customer service course from Tarrant County College and professional seminars. The only cost to students is a $20 materials fee.
GED Preparation Course - Classes help students acquire their high school equivalency certification. The only cost to students is a $20 materials fee.
